More about MINITONE^®

It was in late 2012 that I developed and released the first MINITONE^® project, aiming to merge my former life as a DJ and producer with my emerging career as a visual designer. My goal was to create a space where I could showcase more downtempo, non-club-focused mixes. Pairing music with colour, I stumbled on a fun way to curate these mixes. It was a departure from my usual style at the time, but it found an audience and quickly gained popularity, putting me on a completely different trajectory.

Fast-forward a decade, my time as a DJ now feels like a distant memory, and I haven't played a club since 2016. As I find myself on the other side of 40, life has taken me on a different path. I’m now fully engaged in running my own design company, but music remains an inseparable part of my story. Even now, MINITONE^® holds a special place in my heart, serving as a cornerstone of my journey through the music industry and through life in general. That’s why I have decided to create this website to host and share these mixes, preserving a small corner of the internet dedicated to the memories they hold. It’s also given me an excuse to dig out some old gear and maybe keep the series going in the years ahead. Feel free to listen, download and share these mixes with your friends.
